Purpose of Position: To install, service, or repair automatic doors and operating mechanisms.

Essential Duties:

• Installation of glass storefront products
• Installation and service of commercial doors and hardware
• Installation and service of automatic pedestrian doors
• Installation and service of electronic door hardware
• Perform preventative maintenance on automatic and entrance doors
• Maintain service truck inventory

Position Requirements

• Technical or Trade school graduate or Highschool diploma/GED
• AAADM Certification a plus
• Ability to accurately read tape measure, level and blueprints
• Need to have mechanical ability and use hand tools and power tools with competence
• Electrical Skills
• Must have a Valid Driver's License

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures (such as AAADM book), blue prints, Architectural drawings, wiring diagrams, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to perform basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal

Physical Demands

• Ability to push, pull and lift 100lbs
• Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop
• Ability to reach above and below shoulders
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist and pull
• Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground
• Ability to endure uncomfortable weather conditions year round
