Service Mechanic
This position is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automatic door mechanisms.

Essential Duties
- Installation of glass storefront products
- Installation and service of commercial doors and hardware
- Installation and service of automatic pedestrian doors
- Installation and service of electronic door hardware
- Perform preventative maintenance on automatic and entrance doors
- Maintain service truck inventory

Essential Duties
- Installation of Curtain wall, Storefront, Entranceways and Architectural metal wall panel systems.
- Read, understand, and execute details and installation instructions for specific manufacturers' systems.
- Able to use the following types of equipment and at different levels of elevations (but not limited to):
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts
- Scaffold
- Swing stage
- Read and interpret blueprints, or specifications to determine size, shape, color, type, or thickness of glass, location of framing, installation procedures, or staging, or scaffolding materials required.
- Determine plumb of walls or ceilings, using plumb lines and levels.
- Fabricate, and/or install metal sashes, and/or moldings for glass installation, using aluminum or steel framing.
- Measure mirror and dimensions of areas to be covered to determine work procedures.
- Fasten glass panes into wood sashes, or frames with clips, points, or moldings, adding weather seals, or putty around pane edges to seal joints.
- Secure mirrors in position.
- Cut, fit, repair, or replace glass, or glass substitutes, in building interiors, or exteriors, or in furniture, or other products.
- Cut and remove broken glass.
- Work with cranes, or hoists with suction cups to lift large, heavy pieces of glass.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Fabricator
Fabricate commercial windows, curtain wall, storefront, doors including hardware and composite panels.

Essential Duties
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer's instructions.
- Utilize oral and written instructions to determine size, shape, color, and type of material to use.
- Cut, fit and assemble material in accordance with manufacture's specifications.
- Operate forklift and side loader to move material from storage to production area. Unload material from trucks and tractor trailers by means of forklift, side loader and manual labor.
- Fabricate various composite panels from flat stock.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
