Service Mechanic

This position is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing automatic door mechanisms.

Essential Duties
  • Installation of glass storefront products
  • Installation and service of commercial doors and hardware
  • Installation and service of automatic pedestrian doors
  • Installation and service of electronic door hardware
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automatic and entrance doors
  • Maintain service truck inventory

Glazier

This position is responsible for installing curtain walls, storefronts, entranceways, and architectural metal panels in mid- and high-rise buildings.

Essential Duties
  • Installation of glass windows, storefronts, mirrors and display cases
  • Installation of glass surfaces on building fronts and interior walls
  • Installation of metal panels on building surfaces.
  • Responsible for execution and installation of specific manufacturers’ systems
  • Responsible for being able to use the following types of equipment:
    • Scissor lifts
    • Boom lifts
    • Scaffold
    • Swing stage
  • Ability to work with cranes, or hoists with suction cups to lift large, heavy pieces of glass
  • Understanding and following OSHA regulations
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Responsible for fabricating and/or installing metal sashes, and/or moldings for glass installation, using aluminum or steel framing.
  • Fastening glass panes into wood sashes, or frames.
  • Cutting, fitting, repairing, or replacing glass, or glass substitutes

Draftsman

This position coordinates the collection of data from a scope-of-work and architectural drawings to incorporate into shop drawings.

  • Create and/or modify shop drawings
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to provide detailed fabrication drawings
  • Request additional information as needed
  • Intercompany communications
  • Attend internal and external project meetings
  • Assist with field measuring
  • BIM experience and/or certification

Contract Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing a project or multiple projects from the time a project is awarded, throughout the various phases: shop drawing, submittal, purchasing, measuring, scheduling, fabrication, installation, and project completion.

  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Responsible for submittals
  • Completion of material takeoff/optimization
  • Material procurement
  • Attend job site meetings with customer
  • Coordination with shop fabricators and field installers
  • Coordinate field measuring
  • Revise Shop Drawings
  • Overseeing project progress and manage project budget and schedule
  • Implement and manage project changes and submission of change orders
  • Prepare monthly billing
